Happy Hunger Games! Chances are, you (and a good handful of your students) contributed to the box office success of the movie, The Hunger Games. The movie follows a young heroine by the name of Katniss Everdeen as she attempts to be the last one standing in an arena full of 23 other combatants all looking to accomplish the same goal, win! The movie is full of action, suspense, and forces you to think about what your priorities would be if put face-to-face with death.

It's this very premise that prompts us to ask the question: "What are YOU hungry for?" I mean really, really hungry for? Acceptance? Purpose? To Win? Using a fun video, our own "tribute," a powerful closing drama, and God's Word we help students realize "the odds are ever in their favor" when they depend on the Lord to satisfy the hungers of their heart.
